This weekend will be a big race nights for all children 12 and under.
Farley Speedway will be host to Three Rivers FS Back to School along with the Nesteby Brothers Night of Racing. Back to school night consist of a bag of school supply put together by Kids Racers Club organizers Mary and Karen. Drew Cook & Sons Excavating is the sponsor for the $500 dollar nickel toss on the front stretch at intermission. After intermission we will have the drawing for approx. 20 bikes. Pit open 5:30 pm. Grandstands 6 pm with hot laps at 7pm.
Adults $12, seniors $9, students $6 and children 12 & under free with paid adult. Pit pass $25 for member and $30 for non member.Kids bring your bag or cup to pick up your nickels.
West Liberty Raceway will have Horn Automotive Back to School night as well. A big thanks goes out to Carey Feller for organizing the give aways for the night. And a big big thank you to all the donations for the nickel toss. Last I heard it was over $700 in coins to be tossed on to the front stretch for all children 12 & under. Double featured will also take place for the IMCA Modifieds.
Dubuque Speedway will have Back to School too. East Dubuque Savings Bank has again donated the $500 in nickels for the nickel toss down in front of the grandstands at intermission. After intermission will be the bike drawings. My goal is to have 20 bike for the drawing. I am a few short but am very positive that we will have 20 or more.
