Snow Forces Cancellation Of IRA Sprints At Dubuque Speedway - Sunday, April 13th races cancelled

Dubuque, Iowa: Officials of Simmons Promotions have announced that the opening racing event for the 2003 season at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway has fallen victim to the weather. Heavy snow blanketed the Dubuque Speedway on Monday leaving the track unworkable. The IRA Sprint car event has been cancelled for Sunday, April 13th. IRA officials and SPI officials are currently working to find a suitable reschedule date. At the time of this release a date has not been secured.
