West Liberty Raceway Opens With Spring Championships  - Saturday, April 6, 2002

The NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by DODGE will be the featured attraction at the annual running of the West Liberty Raceway Spring Championships. The 1/2 mile dirt track located on the Muscatine County Fairgrounds in West Liberty, Iowa will again provide the race fans with the very best in racing excitement each and every Saturday night from April through September.

The West Liberty Raceway Spring Championships will get underway on Saturday, April 6^th with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow at 6 p.m. Headlining the competition will be the Iowa Illinois Taylor Insulation NASCAR Late Models running a 50 lap main event which will award the winner $2,000. Joining the Late Models on the card will be the Miller Time Modifieds, DADCO Corp./Parker Stores Pro Stocks and the NASCAR Hobby Stocks.
