SPI Sets Format For “Liberty 100”
West Liberty, Iowa: The final race of the year at the West Liberty Raceway will be the annual running of the Ideal Ready Mix “Liberty 100”. The final Deery Brothers Summer Series race of the 2016 season will be the headliner of the two day event on Friday & Saturday, September 23rd and 24th. Tyler Bruening (Decorah) and Jeff Aikey (Cedar Falls) are in a very tight battle for the 2016 Championship title. In addition to the Deery Brothers Summer Series IMCA Late Models the Modifieds, Sportmods, Stock Cars and Sport Compacts will all be in action both days plus the Vintage Coupes will run a full show on Friday night. The West Liberty Raceway is located on the Muscatine County Fairgrounds in West Liberty, Iowa and offers plenty of camp sites plus hot showers.

Following Heat Races, top 12 in passing points earned will be qualified for Saturday night Championship races and will redraw for starting positions.
Modifieds, Stock Cars and Sport Compact heat races will pay three positions.

The second IMCA Late Model Feature will see the driver finishing last on the lead lap in the first 50 lap main sitting on the pole for the second feature, any cars unable to compete in the second feature will be replaced by the next car up not qualified for the first feature.
