2004 SPI TRACKS

Dubuque Cancelled 5-23-2004

Heavy weekend rains have taken it's toll at the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway, forcing the fourth cancelleation in six weeks.  Racing will resume next Sunday, May 30th with the first Budweiser Open Late Model Shootout of the season.  Eastern Iowa's finest Late Model drivers will be on hand to via for the 50-lap $6,000 top prize.  In addition to the Late Models, all 5 divisions of stock cars will be in competition.  The NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge will return to the high banks on Sunday June 6th.  Hot laps both nights are scheduled for 6 pm with racing to follow.
