Dubuque Speedway Hit By Rain Again!!! 

Dubuque, Iowa:  For the fifth time in seven weeks the Dubuque Speedway scheduled events have fallen victim to weather. The Bud Open Late Model Shootout scheduled for Sunday, May 30^th was cancelled following a hard rain shower that hit the area during the late afternoon. SPI officials would like to reschedule the event if a suitable date can be found but the officials would like to reaffirm to the fans that two more Bud Shootouts remain on the 2004 schedule at the Dubuque Speedway. Bud Shootouts are scheduled for the Sunday of the Labor Day weekend which will be Sunday, September 5^th then again on the year end event which will be a two day event on Friday and Saturday, October 1^st and 2^nd.

 NASCAR racing will be set to resume at the Dubuque Speedway on Sunday, June 6^th with hot laps scheduled to take the green at 6 p.m.
