Yankee Dirt Track Classic Kicks Off

The 27^th annual running of the Yankee Dirt Track Classic took the green flag on Wednesday, September 15. The rains early in the day left the racing surface very heavy and fast for the opening nights racing action. The Farley Flyers and the B-Modifieds ran their heats and consolations setting up their fast dashes and features, which will be run on Thursday night, September 16^th. In addition the Hobby Stocks and Pro Stocks will be in action on Thursday night running their heats and consolations.

 The Yankee will continue on Friday night with the Modifieds and Late Models joining in setting up a very big night of racing on Saturday, September 18^th when the Hobby Stocks, Pro Stocks, Modifieds and Late Models will run their fast dashes and features. Saturday nights grand finale will be the 100 lap Bud Shootout Late Model Yankee which will pay a whopping $15,000 to the winner.
