Farley Speedway Sets Bounty On Ron Barker
The officials of Simmons Promotions have announced that a bounty has been placed
on NASCAR Modified driver Ron Barker. 8 nights of NASCAR racing have been held
at the high banked ½ mile dirt track Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa. Ron Barker
has won 6 features of the 8 that have been run. Barker’s dominance has prompted
Keith Simmons to post a $300 bounty on Barker; any Modified driver that can beat
Barker with Barker running competitively will collect the $300 bounty in
addition to the feature winner’s purse. The bounty will go in effect Friday,
June 14th racing gets underway on Friday nights at the Farley
