Bud Shootout Headed To Dubuque Speedway
Farley, Iowa: The popular Bud Shootout Open Late Model series is headed to the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway for a special event on Sunday, September 5th. The Bud Shootouts have drawn drivers from several states to take part in the events which include a 50 lap feature which award an outstanding payday of $6,000 to the winner. A large field of Late Model drivers are expected to take part in this special racing event.
In addition all support classes will be in action with a passing point system being utilized in all classes with the exception of the NASCAR Modifieds which will use a regular weekly qualifying procedure for a weekly point show.
Hot laps will get underway at 6 p.m. with racing to follow at the Dubuque Speedway on Sunday, September 5th.
The first annual Late Model fall special will bring the 2004 Dubuque Speedway season to a close on Friday & Saturday, October 1st and 2nd. The 2 day special will include heats and consolations in all classes on Friday night plus the Late Model Race of Champions. Saturday’s races will include last chance races plus features being headlined by the 100 lap Late Model feature. |
