Dubuque Speedway Falls to Rain, AGAIN!!!
For the second consecutive week, NASCAR Weekly Racing Series action presented by
Dodge at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway has fallen victim to the wet
weather. Rains pelted the tri-states area on Saturday and another shower passed
through early Sunday morning leaving the officials with SPI with no other choice
than to postpone the scheduled season opener for one more week.
The NASCAR racing season will now be set to get underway on Sunday, May 5th
with hot laps taking to the track at 6 p.m. with racing in five divisions to
follow at 6:30 p.m.
