Everything happens for a reason!
Racing for a Reason members Ray Evernham, Scott Riggs, Erin Crocker, Andy Petree, and Bob Dillner are coming to Farley but it's more than just a celebrity event.  Racing for a Reason was co-founded 10 years ago by Ray Evernham shortly after his own son Ray J. had been diagnosed with Leukemia.  Ray J. is now considered a survivor and Ray Evernham remains dedicated and comitted to the cause.  Thursday,  July 12th is Racing for a Reason night at the Farley Speedway and our Nextel Cup guests are not only coming to visit, they are coming to race!  Admission will be $20.00 and the first 250 to enter will receive autographs and a chance to meet and greet these great Nextel cup stars.  Bob Dillner will also bring along a crew from Speed Channel to film the evening activities, and will run a piece on it at Chicagoland.  Our visiting celebrities will face off against the stars of the Farley Speedway in a modified feature event before we let them go home, so don't miss this exciting night of racing action!   A silent auction will also take place during the evening, and Evernham and crew will bring some neat stuff along for that.  For example,

           access) to the August Michigan Race

The evening starts with the gates opening at 3:30pm, an autograph session from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, visiting VIP booth (cost - $100.00, for VIP suite access and private meet and greet available to first 30 people) Hot Laps at 7:30pm with racing to follow.  Racing will consist of our regular Friday night program and the Nextel stars will race with the Modifieds through out the evening.  Racing for a Reason is coming to Farley and there is no reason to miss this night!!
