Farley Speedway/Dubuque Speedway Drivers to Battle It Out For $30,000

Two Track Point Fund In 2004

Midwest Meats Cash & Carry/East Dubuque Savings Bank/SPI

Set Guidelines for 2004 Two Track Point Fund

Farley, Iowa:  The drivers who compete in at least 75% of all weekly NASCAR events at the Farley Speedway on Friday nights and the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway on Sunday nights will be eligible for the 2004 Two Track Point Fund. The total amount of monies paid to eligible drivers will be approximately $30,000.

Ed White of Midwest Meats Cash & Carry will again be the driving force of the two track point fund, White along with his partner sponsors East Dubuque Savings Bank, SPI and a long list of associate sponsors will post the monies available early in the 2004 season.  Drivers will earn points weekly at both tracks and the champion in each division will be the driver who accumulates the most points. The Late Model, Modified, Pro Stock and Hobby Stock champions will receive a champions trophy and a $500 bonus which will be awarded at the 2004 awards banquet. The Farley Flyer two track champion will receive $100 and a champions trophy at the banquet. The remainder of the money will be contested during the 2004 Season Championship events. An invitation only two track point fund race will be held in each class eligible at both the Farley Speedway and Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway on Season Championship nights. The races will be 5 laps for Farley Flyers, 6 laps for Hobby Stocks, Pro Stocks and Modifieds will race for 8 laps and the Late Models will battle it out for 10 laps for the big money. This year drivers who wish to take part in the two track point fund will be asked to pre-register and a small registration fee will be charged. That fee will be paid back on season championship night.
