Bud Shootouts Set To Invade Eastern Iowa Memorial Day Weekend; Sunday, May 25^th-Dubuque Speedway; Monday May 26^th-Davenport Speedway

Farley, Iowa: Officials of SPI have announced that the popular “Bud Open Late Model Shootout” series will highlight the racing calendar on Memorial Day weekend. Back to back races will be held on Sunday, May 25^th at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway and Monday, May 26^th at the Davenport Speedway.

Both “Bud Shootouts” will be highlighted by a 50 lap Late Model feature which will award the winner a whopping $6,000 paycheck. The “Bud Shootouts” draw an outstanding field of the Midwest’s very best Late Model drivers.

Racing action at the Dubuque Speedway will include all regular classes with support divisions running under a draw and redraw format.

The open wheel Modifieds will accompany the Late Models at the Davenport Speedway on Monday, May 26^th.

Both events will get underway with hot laps at 6 p.m. with racing to follow. Iowa Illinois Taylor Insulation, Hollywood Graphics, and Hoosier Tires will be the presenting sponsors, in addition Auto Acres will be sponsoring the Davenport races.

The Dubuque County Fairgrounds Speedway is located just west of Dubuque, Iowa on old Highway 20 at the Fairgrounds. The Davenport Speedway is located on the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa.
