116 Race Cars Pack Pit Area For Dubuque County Fair Race
The 63rd annual Dubuque County Fair came to a close on Sunday, July 31st with racing action featuring a season high 116 race cars in 7 divisions. The large crowd was treated to an excellent night of racing on a beautiful night for the County Fair curtain call.
Racing will continue throughout the month of August with several specials highlighting the remaining schedule. Sunday, August 7th will see a full program of IMCA Weekly Racing Series action with 5 classes, Late Models, Modifieds, Sportmods, Stock Cars and Sport Compacts in action. Sunday, August 14th will be another full program of racing on Back To School Night at the Dubuque Speedway. Kids will be treated to Back To School Supplies as well as having an opportunity to win a new bicycle. Tuesday, August 16th will be the rescheduled Deery Brothers Summer Series event featuring IMCA Late Models and Modifieds on a very special night of racing. Weekly Racing will be held on Sunday, August 21st and the Season Championships will be held on Sunday, August 28th. The revival of the “Rumble on the River will be held on Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st . 2 big days of racing will bring the 2016 season to a close at the Dubuque County fairgrounds Speedway. All events will get underway with hot laps at 6pm with racing to follow.
